A DVD and Blu-Ray Writer, this optical drive is great for people that have multitudes of media on disc. When plugging in a Blu-Ray writer to the computer, it will be ready to use once you insert an optical disc. To reduce the space it takes, the writer will be slot loading. From there, you can choose to move a lot of files you don’t use any more to the writer to save to Blu-ray Disc. You could of course use this to copy discs to your computer, or a drive, but keep in mind the legality of doing this. For archiving, you can back up up to 50GB on a dual layer blu-ray which is supported by Senitrus computers.
