Watch

There are 3 watches to benefit from. As with most handhelds, there are 3 types of watches. You must have a phone for the watch to work, but you do not need the same watch configuration nas the phone. You can have a QWWERTY-A with a SW-P (SmartWatch). It will just depend on your needs. You must have a phone. A PDA? will not support the smartwatch. No matter what, the watch will have the following specs:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon S5 CPU
  • 4GB? of memory
  • 16GB of storage
  • Wifi?-7, and Bluetooth 5.4
  • Senitrus Sense Watchface

Since this is a watch, it makes sense to conserve resources by using a single processor line. The S5 CPU will do all of the hard work that you would expect from a watch. The watch comes with 4GB of memory, and the storage is 16GB. Keep in mind, that an Android Wear watch does not necessrilly install full apps on your watch. If for example, an RCS message comes through, that RCS message is on your phone, and the watch is just showing you what your RCS message is sending you. Give you an example, Smasung has 2GB of memory, and 16GB of storage. While this watch is considered as high end, the goal is to allow you to have years of service with all of your devices.

Two of the watches offers LTE support. The SW-W is wifi and bluetooth only. This makes the watch cheaper but for someone that needs LTE on their watch will have to choose either the A for budget, or P for features.

Senitrus Sense Watchface will be installed as the only watch face on the Watch. I am sure someone could install another watch face, but Senitrus Sense is the only available on Senitrus watches, and designed to give you as much information without overloading you. The top of the watch will show the date, and time. The right will be the seconds. Center will display calendar events that are found in Senitrus Calendar and coming up in the next week. If your next event is 8 days away, it won’t show up until the next day where it will be within that 7 day window. You can tap on the calendar entry to see more details of your appointment. While in the appointment, you would see nay other appointments in the next 7 days. Pressing the Side button will bring you back home. Bottom left corner will show your watch’s battery strength. Tapping that will show your phones, and earphones strengths as well. Pressing the side button returns home. Next to the percentage, you would see an icon for weather conditions (such as a snowflake for snow). Next to the weather conditions will be the temperature. Tapping either weather widgets will bring you in the weather page where you would see more details. Pressing side button will return home.

When home, you can press the side button for a list of settings. You can use the watch’s dial to scroll to the desired settings. Press the setting with your watch dial will bring you to your options. Selecting the option you wish to change and use the dial to select the option you wish to set. You press the watch dial to select the option. Pressing the side button will bring you back one page. You can continue selecting the side button to exit settings, and return to Home. This is designed to make life simpler for those with the watch face.

SW-W

This is the non-cellular version of the smartwatch. It will still keep in contact with the phone when there is no wifi connection, however the watch is just using bluetooth, and likely the watch that most people will need. The SW-W’s biggest advantage is price. It will be $150 less than SW-A since the A has a cellular radio, and much cheaper than the SW-P which expands on an additional feature.

SW-A

The SW-A is an affordable option for the smartwatch. This watch will use eSIM? to get a data plan attached to the watch. From there, you can do all of the things that your data enabled smartwatch can do. The phone does not need much data as you are unlikely wishing you can watch a video on the watch’s screen. With that said, all cellular enabled smartwatches will use LTE.

SW-P

The SW-P has all of the bells and whistles you might expect from a higher end smartwatch. However, there is one more thing that this watch will offer that most will not, and that is a pager feature. A pager is still used by medicial professionals, and attorneys that might want to give a contact option, but doesn’t want them to ring the phone you might not hear. The pager will make sounds whether on the charger or wrist. Some pager service providers will offer voicemail as well. With the SW-P, there is one less thing to carry since you are likely wearing a watch anyways. The SW-P only supports incoming pages, and does not support 2-Way paging. For that, acquire a cellular line, or use a qualifying SIP? provider such as Line2.
